Under the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981 every organisation in the UK has responsibilities with regard to first aid provision. The HSE provides guidelines as to how many first aiders should be provided and defines a first aider as someone who has successfully passed the first aid at work course. Aside from the legal requirements this four day course provides excellent detailed coverage of first aid for anyone wanting to gain skills for inside or outside of work.
